EliphasZ offers its music for free

EliphasZ is the new project of François Vachon, who is the leader of Quebec-based heavy rock band Merkabah. It\'s a vehicle to experiment with new ideas and sounds, stimulate creativity and celebrate artistic freedom. Incidentally, the texts were written by translating a bunch of Merkabah songs to French and adapting them to a different music genre.

EliphasZ can thus better be described as a genre-defying entity that encompasses pop music as well as elements of progressive rock, electronic, ambient and experimental music. Furthermore, EliphasZ offers a rich blend of instrumentals and songs. The debut album, which is called Le royaume des poussières, was recorded by Raynald Brochu in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu between August 2011 and March 2012.

Exploring topics such as Quebec History, the collective unconscious, inner life, symbolism and dreams, the great adventure it offers is likely to catch the interest of any aficionados of good music.
